This training focuses on application of the Lean tools and principles in different environments: manufacturing, warehousing, R&D, services,… The training is also a preparation for the “Certified Black Belt in Lean” examination from IIBLC®.
We start with a recap Value Stream Map where we focus on how the black belt can work with the different teams in the organization to set up an E2E VSM. (the 8 steps of implementation) Both the “as is” VSM as the future VSM are dealt with.
For the different environments (manufacturing, office/services, R&D, Healthcare, Total productive maintenance) we review the specificities that differentiates each.
A preview of some of the tools we see are Kanban, supermarket, pitch, scheduling, error prevention, Completeness & Accuracy (for services), work balancing, SOP, Heijunka, OEE, SMED, etc.
We also review the different stages in project management with supporting tools as the project charter, progress reporting, PMO, etc. Some additional Six Sigma tools like data analysis, SIPOC are covered.
